Bouton died on May 23, 92000 at Presbyterian Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Berwyn, Illinois on October 26, 1926 to Archibald and Dorothy Baldwin Bouver. He was a descendent of John Bouton, a French Hugueno refugee who settled in ConSnecticut in 1635. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lucille Sandy Bouton, whom he met in the offst grade. Also surviving are two daughters, Thindsey Bouton and Tracey (Dean) Patino, both of Naperville, IL; two sons, Kenneth of Western Springs, IL and Christopher (Kerry Keller) Bouton of Lombard, IL.

There are seven grandchilaren, Howard, Thomas and John Bouton of Hinsdale, IL, Bradley Christoff and Ryan, Samantha and Amanda Pation of Naperville, IL; his sister, Laurel (Daniel) Sammons of Tucson, AZ also survives. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 until his discharge as an infantry sergeant in 1946. His Army career was in the South Pacific and Japan. He attended Ripon College in Wisconsin and Morton College in Illinois.

He earned Bachelor and Master's degrees from the University of Wyoming, In 1950, he joined the First National Bank of Chicago as a messenger boy and retired as a Vice-President in 1984. At various times he lectured on banking and investment subjects at DePaul University and the American Institute of Banking in Chicago. Before he moved to Albuunarque in 1985, he was instrumental in the organuation of the town of Burr Ridge, Illinois, his former hometown. in Albuquerque he was a counselor at SCORE and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He will be remembered other things -for his broad sense of huhor, often directed at himself.

He was happleat amongst his friends and family. He spent many quiet hours reading and studying in his library of several hundred books. He pursued some quirky" hobbies, including vexillology (flags), putting $2 bills into circulation, black holes, and coddling his 1975 Pontiac convertible. Cremation has" taken place. A family memorial service is planned for a later date, Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Parkinson's Foundation.

Mildred was an excellent seamstress. Her creations graced many special occasions and the memories will always be treasured. Mimi was always generous and giving to everyone.

Robert Correa, 44, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away May 24, 2000. Anthony attended grade school at Queen of Heaven and graduated from Eldorado High School in 1973. He loved woodworking and drawing, and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. His sister, Lona McLaughlin, preceded him in death in August, 1999. He is survived by his children, Leah Correa and Dale Dixton, Ciara Correa and Vinnie Trujillo, Anthony Correa and Melissa Morfin and Chelsea Correa; two grandchildren, Mina and Dreama Correa; parents, Gilbert and Lavinia Correa; brothers, Gilbert Correa Jr.

and wife, Linda, Steve Correa and Kitty Cooper and Danny Correa; sister, Denise Whitfield and husband, Harry; uncle, Carlos and wife, Betty; and aunt and uncle, Ted Correa and wife, Violet and Eva Aholo, all of Hawaii; aunts, Rose Lujan and Al, Dollie Woody, Olivia Kiefer, and Larry and Vickie Montoya; and numerous cousins that were close to him all of his life. She was born in Jenkins (Crossroads), New Mexico on November 7, 1912 to Ross and Martha Norton. The family moved to Wellman, Texas, where she went to -school. After graduating in 1930, she returned to New Mexico for good. On June 3, 1932, she married Charlie Ferris. They spent 61 years together before Charlie died in 1993.

They lived in Lincoln, Ft. Stanton, and Capitan until 1954, when they moved to Tularosa and opened a Tastee Freez, which they ran until they retired in 1974. Dorothy moved' from Tularosa to Edgewood in 1997. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Martha Norton; a brother, Gene Norton (1941); and a son, Gary (1964). She is survived by a brother, Charles Norton of San Antonio, TX; a son, Charles Melvyn Ferris and his wife, Sandra of Edgewood; two grandchildren, Anna Ferris of Albuquerque and Mike and his wife, Sharon of Longmont, CO; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Whitney Ferris of Longmont, CO.

Dorothy is also survived by a very special adopted family, Kay Hawkins and daughter, Lauree of Phoenix, AZ. Dorothy was always very active, She was a member of the Eastern Star in Carrizo20, NM, and a membel of the Woman's Club in both Capitan and Tularosa. The Senior Citizens: groups in Tularosa and Edgewood were very important to her. Dorothy loved gardening, knitting, and crocheting. Harlan of Farmington; great-grandson, Jason Ray Harlan; and great Dana Cook. Mrs. Harlan was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Harlan; and son, Burl Harlan. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE. HILTON- -Thomas J. Hilton, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, passed away on May 22, 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Elva Hilton; and his daughters, Jann Hilton Choate, Lynn Hilton, Andrea Hilton Thute; grandson, Gannon Hilton Thute; niece, Julie Hilton Walsh; and nephew, Jeffrey Hilton. Mr. Hilton attended the University of New Mexico and graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and served as an officer in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Upon his return to New Mexico, he was a prominent businessman in Silver City, and later in Corrales. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held privately in Colorado.

Strong-Thorne Mortuary handled the arrangements. KING- -Brooks Lee King, 89, April 12, 1911 to May 22, 2000, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord after a brief illness. He was born in Sansaba, TX, the youngest of eight boys.

Brooks retired from Sandia National Corporation 28 years ago. Brooks is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy of 64 years; daughter, Brooksene Thompson and husband, Frank; son, Edward Leon King and wife, Patricia; five grandchildren, Michelle Thompson-Loyd, Trina Thompson Collums, Joe King, Stacey King Lopez, Brooks "Lenny" King; and great Whitney, Chad and Chelsea Collums, Jason and Wellsley Loyd, Danielle and Ashley Lopez, Alex, Eric and Bennett King and Victoria Monks-King. Brooks was a longtime member of The Trinity United Methodist Church. It was at Trinity where Brooks learned the power of prayer and the joy of helping others. Brooks was known for his sense of humor and as a great story teller, family, neighbors and friends will pass on his memories and stories.

KRAVITZ- Vera Gilmore Kravitz, 86, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, passed away, on May 24, 2000. She was born in Snyder, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome. Kravitz and her parents, Venell and Charles Miller. She is survived by her son, William Gilmore and wife, Nola; her daughter, Michele Diel and her sons, Robert and Eduard; sister, Fay Baker of Lamar, CO; grandchildren, Garry Gilmore and wife, and family, and Gayle Gilmore; and two nieces, Janet Kay Ranch and Georgia Ann Sullivan.

Mrs. Kravitz was an avid golfer in the 1950's through the 1970's. She won numerous golf championships in West Texas and New Mexico, and was very proud of her five holes-in-one during her golfing career. She also enjoyed her flower garden and knitting. She and her husband were very generous with donations to various charities.

A Rosary will be recited at Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola on Friday, May 26, 2000 at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of the Resurrection will be concelebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Espanola on Saturday, May 27, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her brothers. Honorary pallbearers are Goddaughters, Anna Sandoval-Garcia, Letitia Sandoval, Yvette Sanchez, and Alegra Garcia; friends, Sally Gonzales, Sister Margaret Chochon, Gloria Martin, Margaret Quintana, Cathleen Catanach, Dolores Martin, Sharon Kelly, Eloisa Block, Beverly Garcia, Anita G. Shaffer, 81, a resident of Albuquerque died, Wednesday, May 24, 2000. She is survived by her son, Kenneth O'Neal Shaffer and wife, Raylah Etlantus of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Maiya of Overland Park, KS, Alandren and Haly both of Albuquerque; grandson, Niran of Albuquerque; brother, Jim Estes of Gun Barrel City, TX; sisters, Margaret Rucker and Mary Estes both of Dallas, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

NE. SPERO- Lawrence A. "Larry" Spero, age 79, passed away May 19, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Mary Spero of Albuquerque; daughter, Joanne M. Spero of Durango, CO; son, Thomas L.

Spero and wife, Lonnie of Farmington; daughter, Judith E. Traeger and husband, Ric of Tijeras; grandchildren, Kristin Clare Traeger and Teresa Mei Ling Traeger, both of Tijeras; brother, Raymond P. Spero; and sister, Irene Caprioglio and husband, Lou, all of Arvada, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Larry served his country during World. War II in the Army, where he was a sergeant.

He was the manager of the service shop of General Electric and then became a Westinghouse Sales Rep later in his career. Larry was, involved with the Institute of Electrical Engineers, and he also enjoyed fishing, gardening and car repair. He was a kin and devoted husband and father for whose life we are eternally grateful. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 27, 2000 at the Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Rd. NE at 11:00 a.m.

Utrup of Cedar Crest, NM, Martha G. Lyle-Erhard and husband, Bruce of Las Cruces, NM, and Veronica A. Petersen of Seaford, NY; daughter-in-law, Dr. Carol Merovka of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Anna Maria, Matthew William Utrup and Tara Lichelle Hankins, all of Albuquerque; Michael James Hankins, and wife, Christina of Austin, TX, Kim Colleen Hine and husband, Jeff of Rio Rancho, and Jeffrey Lyle Petersen of Seaford, NY; three greatgrandchildren, Trahurn, Michael, and Kallie; and three nephews, Donald Waudby of Dallas, TX, Curtis and E.W. Waudby, both of Ft.

Worth, TX. Mrs. Lyle was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Herbert Pearson; and her sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Pearson Waudby. Thelma was born August 21, 1920 in Kansas City, KS to William T. and Gertrude Pearson.

She was an accomplished pianist and also gave music lessons. She met John at Ft. Leavenworth, KS in 1937. They have remained sweethearts ever since. Mrs.

Lyle went on to complete her degree as a registered nurse from St. Joseph's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. As the wife of an Army careerist, Mrs. Lyle lived in many different cities and countries throughout Europe. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church for many years.

Memorial Rosary will be recited Friday, May 26, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Claremont Vermont Streets NE, with the Marianites reciting. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 27, 2000, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, with Father Ronald Bruckner, Celebrant. A devoted mother and a loving wife, she successfully raised her sons in a loving and caring environment. An active member of the Church of Christ, her passion was the study of the Scriptures; this allowed her to be an exceptional bible teacher. She taught numerous classes for women along with numerous private studies. Her love of Christ was not surpassed by anything, with her family next.

He was 88. Simon, who had Alzheimer's disease, died Thursday, according to his sister-in-law, Ann Rutherford Dozier of Beverly Hills. Simon produced "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show" in the 1950s and is credited with helping develop a method for preserving the live quality of broadcasts on film, which led to the first summer reruns and spawned the syndication industry. Simon later became president Filmways Productions, where was responsible for several sitcoms including "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Petticoat Junction "Green Acres" and "Mr. Ed." He began his career during the television industry's infancy, create ing live programs shot in Hollywood.
